Walmart Jobs

Wal jobs, or Wal Mart jobs, are available today in hundreds of locations throughout the country. The company announced last month that it will create over 22,000 new jobs by the end of 2009 for both new stores and expansion of existing stores in the United States. This was good news for an American economy that began 2009 with more than 200,000 job cuts announced in the month of January. January 26 was labeled Bloody Monday as 65,400 cuts were announced on that day alone.

Wal Mart is ranked number 2 on the Fortune 500 list of largest corporations in the United States. It employs nearly 2 million people worldwide and has revenues in excess of $405 billion. Wal Mart has more than 4,000 stores in the United States and is likely to have a store location near you.

It is good for the job seeker that Wal Mart jobs are available at this time when the job market has suffered such dramatic reductions. However, the hiring process for large corporations, including Wal Mart, requires the job seeker complete several steps that can take a bit of time. You start with filling out an application for employment, followed by an interview at the company and finally an internal company review after which you will be notified of a hiring decision. The process can take weeks and requires the job seeker to be thorough and complete in filling out all paperwork. The reward to the job seeker is the security of stable employment at one of the most successful companies in the world. Wal jobs available are in all areas of the business, including cashier, accounting, stocker, administration, IT, management, human resources, public relations, and many others.
