Walmart Job Applications - Why Bother

You might be saying to yourself, why bother with a Walmart job application when there are many other places to work and a job at Walmart would seem to be very monotonous.

The reasons to apply at Walmart are many.

They are hiring 22,000 new people this year alone.
They like to promote from within.
The jobs opportunities at Walmart are varied so you are sure to find something you like.
They have a spectacular health insurance program.
They give back to the community.
They offer flexible hours.
They have jobs for teens.
Their training program is second to none.

That's just a few of the reasons and you should consider this as well. Walmart jobs look great on a resume because most employers know that Walmart trains their people well, hires only people with clean backgrounds and that if you worked at Walmart you are courteous and respectful.

Granted, the pay is not going to get you a brand new car every year but it will generate some decent income for the necessities and it makes a great second job. Think about what it would be like in your household if you had and extra few hundred dollars coming in every month.

Would that relieve some stress in your household? Would you use the money to put some savings away? Would you spend it on that much needed bathroom upgrade?

We all have different needs financially and we all know there is no such thing as "extra money" but it's a rare household that could not use the added income.
