If you want your body fat to lose now then its time to take some serious action. You have probably been thinking about weight loss for a long time, but actually doing something about it can be tough. What you need is motivation (which you should have, isn't being thin motivation enough?) and a positive attitude. Sure, you will not see results after day one, but wait until you are 3 weeks into your regime - that is when you will start noticing some real body changes and it is then that you will gain the motivation needed to continue.
To lose body fat it is simple: burn more calories than you consume. Sounds easy enough doesn't it? And it is easy. Unfortunately there are many people and companies who make losing weight sound like rocket science when in fact it is one of the simplest things in the world to understand. There is no doubt that weight loss pill companies and wonder exercise equipment makers revel in making weight loss seem hard and impossible but it does not need to be that way. If you can put all that sort of thing aside and focus on the core weight loss rules, then you can succeed.
So what should you eat when you are losing weight? Or more to the point, what can you eat? Plenty of vegetables should be eaten - at least 4 serves a day. Add to that a good dose of fruit and plenty of water and you have half of your diet. The other half can either consist of lean meat, or lentils, rice, beans and other such foods if you are vegetarian. In fact, being vegetarian can lend itself to weight loss as meat contains many calories. If you are a meat eater, limit it to two nights a week of red meat and one to two serves of fish or chicken per week.
Foods high in carbohydrates are not necessarily unhealthy, but can contain many calories. Things like pasta and potatoes are high carb foods that can leave you bloated. You do not have to rule these out of your diet, but limiting them will assist in weight loss. Then there is the problem of junk food and snacks. Do you need to banish these forever? Well, no. There is no need to deprive yourself of some guilty pleasures. Just make it sparse and limited. For example, treat yourself to an ice cream once per week and make sure you stick to your limits.
These healthy diet tips, coupled with exercise, will lead to a leaner you and a more energetic you.
