When you're looking for gifts - or just something for yourself - gift cards are a great option. You can almost do anything with them, depending on where the card is for. But did you know you can also get a free gift card from many places online? You'll have to fill out offers to do so, but if you're smart, it's a great thing to get into.

Before you do anything else, you'll need an e-mail account. You can create an account with any one of the various providers on the internet. You probably already have e-mail, but you want another just for this purpose, so you can sign up for all the offers you can find without filling up your inbox.

When you start looking for actual offers, you shouldn't limit yourself. If you can find several applicable offers, you should fill all of them out. You'll find it takes a while to fill things out at first, but soon you'll be moving very quickly and getting lots of gift cards in the mail.

That said, make sure you're actually allowed to get the cards before you sign up for them. Sometimes they're only sent out to a certain area, or other terms apply. Even if you get them, you won't be able to use them, and you'll have wasted time you could have spend filling out better options.

Of course, you shouldn't drop everything and try to make a living off finding your next free gift card. This should just be something you do in your free time that allows you to get some nice things as well. Your job and life are always more important, but if you have the time, there's no reason not to try this out.
